New Website Design

I’m incredibly happy to present a new web design for NightStorm Designs! It’s been a while since I’ve given NSD a fresh look (a long time for me, anyway–I usually update my websites once every couple of months!).

This design was inspired a challenge from a new client. With the style of website he needed, I thought the WordPress content management system would be a perfect suit for him…there was only one problem: WordPress.com is hosted by WordPress but he’d already paid for his current hosting for over a year. I’d heard great things about WordPress.org before, which is the same content management system but has the capability to be hosted on other web hosts, not to mention incredibly handy “plugins”.  In order to do the research to be as prepared as I like to be before starting a job, I created a test website and used my own content to try it out.  Needless to say, I fell in love with it.

A few new features to the site include, a blog (as you may have already noticed!), a random testimonial rotation and the ability to post my newest designs across the bottom of the site.

It took me about 30 hours to complete.
